The new studio, Jasper Studios
At the end of the last year, I decided that it will be a good idea to move into my little studio. I loved where I was and the relationships I created with everyone I was sharing the space with. I felt that if I wanted to push forward in this career as a Photographer that I should take the plunge and have my little studio.
That is when I start on the journey to find a space, and with luck, on my side, I found a new building just up the road from where I was. My rent was going to go up slightly, and with the way, the other building kept raising rent I knew my share would be the same as what the new place wanted in the next year or two.
So I calculated the difference and compared it to what I knew I could afford for my over the head. It would cause some strain, but it will be a push to find more work doing what I want to do and to market myself even more.
After my holiday break, I was able to move in and settle into space. Bought some chairs for clients to sit at and got some tea and coffee ready for them too. I am excited to have my space. To allow me to continue to give my clients the white glove treatment from point A to point B in all aspects of interacting with me. I guess that is the beautiful thing I learn about working at the Fruit Stand for so long, client relations matter severely.
I will always offer any potential client or friend to come check out space and say hi. Grab some coffee and tea with me while we discuss the potential of working together.
